Tara Moore's passion for exploring the wilderness and capturing the spirit and emotion of animals in their natural habitat has led her to travel the globe in search of inspiration. A resident of Montana, she now finds inspiration in the animals around her home, constantly striving to capture their movement and spirit in her paintings.

As a member of The Society of Animal Artists, Inc., Tara participates in juried exhibitions across the country and has had solo shows in prestigious galleries. She is a regular participant in the C.M. Russell Show and Auction in Great Falls, MT, and was honored in 2007 with the Ralph Tuffy Berg Memorial Award.

Tara's work has been featured in various exhibitions, including the Hockaday Museum of Art, the C.M. Russell Museum, and the Montana Land Reliance. Her paintings have also been featured in books and magazines, National Wildlife Federation's Christmas cards, and books she has written and illustrated. She has even written and directed two films, with more to come. Tara's work can also be seen in gallery group shows, charity events, and as a participant in Quick-Draw events throughout the West. The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation has chosen Tara as the "featured artist" for the year 2000, and in 2001 she won the GOLD award at the Invitational Whitefish Theatre Jubilee Art Exhibition.
